Let's Get it Started!

I'm so excited for this New Year! Time to take a look at my dream board to see how far I've come!
...maybe make a new one. Do you have a dream board? If so, do you make a new one each year?
I have a few art related goals in mind for the new year,
but haven't written any down yet. But number one would be get organized!
I have a beautiful art/craft studio on my dream board but the only thing I've accomplished for that is that I actually have a designated room for it. But hey, it's a big start! It would help if I knew how long we would be in this house though. I haven't even hung pictures yet!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I sure did. I got the greatest gift ever! He's furry, cuddly, and the cutest little guy ever!

Here's my Christmas gift this year! He's a bundle of joy and trouble all in one! I haven't laughed so much in a long time! I named him Kona after my favorite place. So, I'm not sure I'll be doing the 30 in 30 challenge this month because I still have a few commissioned pieces I'm working on and am taking care of this little one!

The paintings above are some of the commissions I did  this Christmas. I've heard from a few of their new owners so far and they were thrilled! I always love hearing that!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Your commissions are fabulous...especially love the house. I am partial to houses.

Pat your new little Kona on the head for me. What a cute little furry face!

Happy New Year Jennifer!

Oh Jennifer, Kona is a LOVE! Oh, what an absolutely adorable dog.

Your paintings, as always, are fantastic.

I don't have a dream "board," per se but keep a self-discovery journal.

It's always good to set goals, don't you think?

Hope your New Year of life is wonderful! Susan

Happy New Year, Jennifer. I've been away from blogging for awhile. Got moved; still in a mess; closed escrow Dec. 30. Beginning 2014 with a lot of decluttering/purging to do as we remodel yet another home. Love your new buddy. I have a lot to catch up to with your blog yet but just wanted to say hi; you sound happy. From Vicki down south here sort of near your old stomping grounds in SoCal!

Great to hear from you Vicki! I'm glad you have moved! I am happy...no winter blues this year! But I'm sure it has a lot to do with my new little guy and the lack of rain this year. Not good for the lake and forest but I love the sunny days! Talk to you soon!

Jennifer, could you try to email me (like we've done in the past); I have some questions and also have a purchase(s). Thanks; can't seem to pull up my old info on the computer on how we used to do this! I'm a dino when it comes to all the other new media/tools/gadgets.

This is from the Vicki down south. Did you read or hear about the awful wildfire in Azusa/Glendora today? We were 90 degrees F with 3% humidity ourselves; so much hot wind, too. It's been like this for weeks and weeks. Desperately need rain down here in SoCal!!

Thanks! Have enjoyed scrolling back thru your work and previous posts. You've done some good stuff over the months. I think the 30-day challenge was terrific. Hope your year is getting off to a good start. Pup is so cute; oh gosh is a new one a lot of work at first (gotta watch 'em every minute when they're little babies) but also so much joy.
