Hi, I'm artist Jen Beaudet Zondervan, from Southern California, USA. I started this blog in 2009 as a way to share my art journey and meet other creative souls. It became my therapy. I use oil paints with a palette knife and bold brush marks. My work is both, passionate and sensitive; inspired by nature's beauty. I first called this blog My Life As a Starving Artist. I have another website JBeaudetStudios.com

Blush is a perfect title for this painting, and with your hair highlights you are ready for spring and then summer.
Oh Jennifer,
A wondeful painting and such a beautiful colour....reminds me of Rosé wine and flushed cheeks !
.....and, doesn't it make you feel good when you've had your highlights done. I always feel so much better when I've had mine done. XXXX
This is a beautiful painting, Jennifer...I love the pinks and blue. I bet your hair looks gorgeous!

Hello,
I visited your blog today - I saw you on 'Art By Karena.' Your blog is lovely, and you are such a talented artist. I just love the 'SPRING' lady, and the vintage lady is so beautiful. While I was reading, I noticed that me and my daughters have alot of the same interests as you. We started a blog, and we would love it if you could visit us and follow. I would enjoy coming back to visit with you. Your blog is filled with beauty and simplicity. I hope to hear from you, and have a sweet day. I'm off to check your shop out now.

Jennifer, I am celebrating the arrival of your painting which I received today.
I must tell everyone that it is even more gorgeous "in person" than by the online photo.
I will blog about it in a few days, and use your photo of it on my blog, if ya don't mind.
I chose the Italian doors and flowers painting.
Wonderful painting and perfectly named.
